Recycling in Colfax
In addition to Placer County's One Big Bin program, Colfax has several recycling locations.

Cardboard and other recyclables can be dropped off at the City's Corporation Yard Monday Through Friday, 7am to 3pm, excluding holidays.
Bottles and cans can be recycled at the Nexcycle station in the Sierra Market parking lot.
E-waste (including appliances and light bulbs of all kinds) can be recycled at Sierra Self Storage at 160 Sherwood Court during normal business hours.

Recycling is mandatory for commercial businesses that generate four cubic yards or more of solid waste per week, and also for multi-family dwellings of 5 or more units. Click here to read more about AB 341.
